Commercial / Retail Solar Panels
Demand for installing solar PV panels onto the roofs of existing buildings has exploded since the Feed in Tariff (FiT) was launched in April 2010. The annual UK market has grown from 10MW in 2009 to 1,000MW in 2011, and this level of activity is likely to continue for the next 3 years; installed capacity of solar PV could be as much as 22,000MW by 2020.
The price of commercial solar panels has fallen dramatically over the last 2 years and the Feed-in Tariff has been reduced to reflect the fall in prices. However, the returns are still as good as they were when the scheme was first launched – and solar electricity is now cheaper than grid electricity. And once your solar panels are installed, the price of your electricity will not increase.
We have designed and installed solar PV systems for large office buildings, supermarkets and distribution centres. Our Suntricity™ solar PV kits are ideal for smaller business units and residential properties.
Our clients include household names such as Npower, Tesco and Shoe Zone, as well as numerous smaller companies wishing to protect themselves from rising electricity bills as well as benefitting from the FiT. For examples of some of our recent commercial solar installations Click here.
