How do you book your O & M with us?

How long in advance should you call to book your O & M?
If you can, please contact us 6 weeks before the O & M is due.
Can you book an O & M with you even if we didn’t install the PV system?
Absolutely.
Do you need to close the businesses for the duration of the O & M?
No. Simple.
Do you have to be present at the visit? Can you be present at the visit should you wish to do so?
We need to be given access and perform Health & Safety. You are free to leave after that, but if you'd like to stay, you're more than welcome to do so.
Do we contact you before your O & M is due?
We recommend that you keep track of it and if possible, contact us to schedule your O & M visit 6 weeks before it is due.
What do we need before our visit?
Address
Number of modules (make and model, if possible)
Number of inverters (make and model, if possible)
Number of roofs with PV
Any special access requirements
Is parking available on site?
Is there safe roof access (with parapet or mansafe)
Is any system documentation available, e.g. electrical schematic?
Inverter location
Any known issues with the system?
How long does the O & M visit last?
It takes approximately around a day (7 ½ hours) per 30kW (around 100 modules). Please note that this is not a set time and it can vary.
What if we find a bigger problem, can it be fixed straight away, or do you need to book another visit?
It depends on how urgent the spotted problem is and if we need to order any spare parts. If we can help there and then, we will.
Do you get the relevant documents straight after the visit or do we send them to you at a later date?
We play part in saving the environment. We do not print any documents unless necessary. Your paperwork will be sent via an email as soon as it is possible to do so. This is usually completed within 48 hours.
Can you call in to be advised over the phone if you suspect a problem or do we need to come out every time?
Feel free to reach out to our office and have a chat with one of our team members. They're well-equipped to assist you and will be more than happy to offer their expertise over the phone. Should the issue persist, we'll promptly arrange a visit at the earliest convenience.
What happens if you cancel the O & M visit last minute? What is our cancellation policy?
At the moment, we have no such policy in place. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes arise. However, we appreciate it if you give us a heads up, even if it's just a last-minute notice.
