SGEF and Photon Energy in partnership to boost rooftop solar installations.
Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF) is delighted to be partnering with Photon Energy,
the multi award-winning PV installer, joining forces to work towards a more sustainable future.
Solar PV is an important part of the UK’s energy mix, helping to deliver affordable, clean and secure energy supplies, it is also a powerful engine for growth. SGEF is committed to help businesses get onto the electrification journey and save money on their energy bills and carbon emissions. SGEF’s partnership with Photon Energy will support investment in solar PV systems for Commercial and Industrial customers with finance terms available from 5 to 10 years. Businesses will often be able to cover the cost of the investment through the savings they make on their energy bill to achieve a cash neutral position.
Vincenzo Scalzone, SGEF’s Head of Sales, Technology, Green and Healthcare said:
“The partnership with Photon Energy is an important and exciting opportunity to demonstrate our support to customers as they start their journey to electrification. It also supports SGEF UK’s commitment to enable and contribute to the energy transformation which is needed to create a more sustainable future for partners, clients, employees and the planet”.
Jonathan Bates, Managing Director of Photon Energy said:
“We are extremely pleased to be able to partner with SGEF. As the Commercial and Industrial rooftop solar market continues to develop in the UK, it will become increasingly necessary to bring new and innovative finance products to the market to help more and more companies benefit from solar PV systems and to further help reduce carbon emissions.”
Vincenzo Scalzone, SGEF and Jonathan Bates, Photon Energy will be joining a panel of experts on October 18th at the Solar & Storage Live 2023 to discuss the Rooftop Revolution to Unlock 70GW of Solar by 2035. The event takes place 17-19 October 2023, NEC Birmingham.
